 The city has adopted the 2003 International Property Maintenance Code. This code governs the conditions of buildings within the City of Highland. Any issues
related to the conditions of buildings are handled by the Building and Zoning Division of Community Development. The city pro-actively enforces this code.

Issues related to non-building issues such as derelict vehicles are handled by the Highland Police Department at 618.654.2131.
