Welcome to the Building and Zoning Division Website
Building and Zoning, a division of the Department of Community Development is committed to the citizens of Highland, ensuring that the quality of construction, your safety and a high standard of living is maintained. This is accomplished through many avenues such as inspections, plan reviews, enforcement of the model building codes, the zoning code, the land development code, property maintenance code, the floodplain ordinance and nuisance codes.
SPECIAL NOTICE: On September 17, 2012 Revised fees schedules were adopted. Contact the Building and Zoning Office for the correct fees, as we work to update our webpages with the new fees.
