Upcoming Projects
Iberg Road Reconstruction
This project upgrades Iberg Road from Broadway south to Coventry Way. The improvements include asphalt pavement 2 lanes with striped bike lanes, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and sidewalks.
Northeast Quadrant of the Peripheral Route
The project extends Iberg Road north/northwesterly from Michael Road to Troxler at U.S. Highway 40. Improvements include constructing approximately 6,370 feet of new asphalt roadway as a rural typical section 2 lanes with paved shoulders (same as Troxler Avenue just west of U.S. 40), no sidewalk, striped bike lanes, and a new fully-actuated traffic signal system at U.S. 40. Improvements also include a grade separation structure carrying Iberg Road over the CSXT Railroad. Trestle Road will be realigned to meet the new road and help with the sight distance to the west.
