The City of Highland's 6th Street Storm Sewer project will begin on Thursday, December 13, 2007. The project includes the installation of new storm sewer from Walnut Street east to Lemon Street, and on Lemon Street north to the creek. Removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter from Walnut Street to Pine Street, and milling and overlaying the asphalt surface from Walnut Street to Pine Street are also part of the project. Local detours around the construction are expected.
