Hemlock Street Extension
Construction on the Hemlock Street Extension has begun. Anticipated work will be along Sportsman Road for water line relocation. Sportsman Road will be closed for water main work and box culvert installation during this project. Every attempt will be made to notify affected residents in advance of these closures. Specific dates are pending.
Poplar St. Widening and Resurfacing Phase 2

All of the machine poured curbing is in place. Work will continue to finish pouring driveways and tie in existing curbing.
PW-09-07 – Falcon and Quail Dr Connections

The proposed improvements will consist of connecting the existing street pavements of Falcon Drive and Quail Drive with concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and water mains. In addition, storm sewer extensions to the north and west are proposed.
Crews began working on backfilling and site grading operations. Upcoming work for next week includes concrete pavement construction and continuing site grading.
6th St Resurfacing

Crews completed work on structure adjustments this week. Upcoming work will include existing pavement milling Monday, the 3rd and Tuesday, the 4th, followed by the paving of the new asphalt surface later in the week.
Look for temporary road closures in the area beginning this week.
Street & Alley Projects

Crews completed a storm sewer installation project in the 700 block of Laurel St, including replacement of sidewalk and the alley entrance apron.
